About Hixson Woodworks
In my ten years of woodworking, I have found that nothing brings me satisfaction like creating a one-of-a-kind piece that is perfect for a client’s needs. From built-in cabinets, bathroom vanities, dining tables, or even something simple like a picture frame, I love to incorporate my client’s vision into the finished product.
Using a blend of traditional and modern woodworking tools and techniques, I will work with you to design and build high quality pieces you can enjoy for a lifetime.

The Process
After the client reaches out, we work together to design their project, swapping ideas until we nail down a design.
After studying inspiration photos and client ideas, I 3D model the project so that the client can envision the final product more clearly - this ensures that they receive exactly what they had envisioned.
Next, I build the project in my shop, taking care to fully execute the client’s vision before finally delivering and installing the piece.

Built-In Cabinets

Maple Bed Frame and Headboard
This king-sized bed frame is constructed from ambrosia maple and black walnut using disconnecting hardware for transport. The headboard is a single slab of hard maple, rescued from a local construction site.
